The Department of Informatics provides a solid theoretical base accompanied by intense practical training. We believe that mastering both the theoretical and practical aspects of informatics is indispensable to be able to adapt to the rapid changes in information technology. Thus, each course is accompanied by exercises or a project. 

In order to foster team work, the exercises and projects are carried out in groups of two or three students. This type of collaboration is favoured in order to prepare students for real-life  professional situations. The work for the Bachelor and Master theses is individual and gives training experience in individual tasks.
