The eGovernment seminar gives an insight in today's eGovernment by dealing with current case studies and current research papers.

The requirements of the modernization of the state and its administration increased, particularly regarding the purposeful use of Internet technologies. A first demand requires electronics democracy and participation, i.e. we would like to support democratic decision procedures electronically. A further demand applies for co-operation between public and private respectively between public institutions. Examples are providing electronic tax declarations or the automatic collection of the electricity use for companies.
