- Human–Computer Information Retrieval: contains aspects of both Human-Computer Interaction and Information Retrieval
- Mediamatics (Multimedia and Informatics): combines technologies, strategies and methodologies from Multimedia, Social Web, Semantic Web, and Web of Things
- Soft Computing: deals with imprecision, uncertainty, partial truth and approximation and this includes Fuzzy Systems, Computing with Words, and Collective Intelligence
... and since that is plenty of work, I always keep watching for motivated students interested in writing a thesis!
