Description: This block course gives an overview of information management for media and communication specialists. The main topics are: Information modelling, information retrieval, multimedia, content management. Part of the course will be hands-on training in the multimedia lab of the Department of Informatics. Different software packages and information systems can be tested by the students. Instead of an examination at the end of the course, the students have to present a project and submit a project report.
