Registration and Accomodation

The registration fee is
        EUR 100
or, alternatively,
        CHF 120
depending on which currency you prefer.

The fee includes:

  • admission to scientific sessions
  • OCG proceedings
  • coffee breaks
  • conference dinner.

To register, please send an e-mail to, containing your full name and affiliation.

The registration fee must be paid cash at the conference.

By air
The airport closest to Fribourg is Bern. However, being a small airport, there are not many flight connections going there.
Convenient airports are also Geneva and Zurich as there are direct train connection from these airports
to Fribourg (please consult the Swiss railway webpages for details; the train journey from Geneva airport takes about 1½ hours, from Zurich about 1¾ hours).

By train
Fribourg is conveniently located on the railway line between Geneva and Zurich. Also coming via Basel, you only have to change once in Bern. P

By car
Fribourg is located directly at the motorway from Bern to Lake Geneva. Coming from the Lake Geneva, take the exit Fribourg Sud, coming from Bern, take Fribourg Nord. For more information, please consult Google maps.

The Workshop Site
Registration as well as
all presentations take place at the Pérolles II campus, Building 21, Boulevard de Pérolles 90, 1700 Fribourg. You find instructions how to get there from the railway station below this map.

Fribourg University has several campuses, so please make sure you go to the Pérolles campus.

The registration desk will be located on the first level of the building just before room A120. This is where also the coffee breaks are going to take place. Registration starts on 23 August 2012 at 08:00.
